His primary research endeavors focus on making groundbreaking, highly influential contributions to Software Engineering. He consistently engages with novel, robust, timely, and emerging research problems, simultaneously enhancing research, development, and supervision skills through a commitment to continuous learning, active collaboration, and rigorous self-assessment. He has published several research papers and articles in popular Software Engineering conferences and journals, including ICSE, ICSME, MSR, SANER, EMSE, and JSS. He also received several prestigious awards for his outstanding academic, research, and teaching excellence. These awards include the USASK Graduate Thesis Award, TCSE distinguished paper award (SANER 2025), Research Excellence Award, GSA Research Excellence in STEM Award, Geddes Award, Carl McCrosky Innovation Award, ISEC 2022 Best Paper Award, and Best Faculty Award.
