SIGSOFT CAPS Travel Support for ICSE 2026

Deadline: before January 15, 2026 | Application Form

SIGSOFT is pleased to announce that the CAPS program offers reimbursement for students and professional who attended the ICSE 2026 conference. CAPS travel support can be used for reimbursing flight, hotel, taxi / cab, shuttle, meals, mileage, and parking, and shall NOT be used for reimbursing other expenses (in particular, conference registration). Support for ACM Open (Open Access) publication fees can also be requested. The CAPS support is available for anyone who fits into one or more of the following categories:

  1. participants who identify as being a member of an underrepresented racial or ethnic group(s) in the place they work,

  2. participants based in low income and lower middle income countries as identified by the World Bank List of Economies,

  3. undergraduate students, or

  4. SIGSOFT members (both student and professional).

The number of CAPS support is limited. To apply, please complete the following form before January 15, 2026. The notifications will be sent by January 30, 2026. Click here to apply for it.

Due to the limited budget of CAPS and oftentimes a large number of qualified applicants, CAPS can provide only partial support for attendance.

Please do not apply multiple times. Only one application will be considered. You will receive an email confirmation that allows you to update your application.

CAPS also provides support for costs if parents who are attending ICSE need to bring their child. This support is handled separately by emailing SIGSOFT CAPS Chairs. The deadline for this application is flexible, depending on the applicants’ needs and the availability of the funds.
