Bio:

Engr. Md. Ariful Islam is a Cisco Certified Network Engineer and the Web3–Blockchain Lead at Brain Station 23 PLC, a leading multinational technology services provider. He architects and delivers blockchain-enabled platforms for European Union markets across diverse sectors, including sports digital collectibles, tourism supply chains, cross-border payments, and healthcare.

An elite competitor on the global stage, he was a Global Winner at the AWS Global Vibe Hackathon 2026 in the AI and Web3 Integration category. He also represented Bangladesh at the International Blockchain Olympiad (IBCOL) 2021, where his team earned a Merit Award, and was a national finalist in the Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh.

Beyond industry work, Md. Ariful Islam is an active author whose research on Blockchain-Oriented Software Engineering (BOSE), distributed systems, and DeFi has been published in leading venues including IEEE Access, ICBC (CryptoEx), and ICSE workshops.

He coordinated IEEE ICBC sponsorship initiatives on behalf of Brain Station 23 and contributed to a Norway-funded (Research Council of Norway) blockchain-powered health-tech research project in collaboration with the University of Stavanger. Dedicated to technology education, he has mentored 600+ students in Web technologies through a leading EdTech platform Ostad Limited.

A native of Mirsharai, Chittagong, Bangladesh and the proud son of Engr. Md. Nur Hossain, Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) [F-6569].
