Bio:

Majd Soud is an Assistant Professor at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Iceland. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on software security from Reykjavík University in Iceland. Her research centers on vulnerability analysis, detection, and patching, using empirical software engineering to strengthen software security. Currently, she applies data‑driven methods, AI, and machine learning to enhance the security of smart contracts and blockchain systems. Her work includes developing tools and techniques for identifying vulnerabilities in the blockchain ecosystem and offering best‑practice guidance for secure system design.
