Federica Sarro is a Full Professor of Software Engineering at the Department of Computer Science, University College London (UCL), and Head of the Software Systems Engineering (SSE) grop at UCL (https://www.ucl.ac.uk/engineering/computer-science/research/research-groups-and-centres/software-systems-engineering-group).
Prof. Sarro also leads the Software Optimisation, Learning and Analytics Research (SOLAR) group, which she established in 2019 (https://solar.cs.ucl.ac.uk/index.html).
Since January 2025, Prof. Sarro is the Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Technical Community on Software Engineering (TCSE) (https://tc.computer.org/tcse/).
